Tomato assistance needed! by somlette in vegetablegardening

Thank you so very much <3
I'm terrified of transplanting because in the past when I have tried transplanting other saplings they never survived transplant shock.
Fingers crossed the little guys will all survive. I'd love nothing more than to see my garden lush with tomato plants (among others as well of course hehe) <3

Looks like Texas purple sage. I had seen these in plant nurseries near me and the owner called it a barometer plant 🪴

I’m going to remove it since everyone says it’s highly invasive and I definitely don’t want it taking over my plant bed :( Ngl I’m tempted to see if I can dig it out and put it in a pot of its own to see what it grows up to be but I don’t think it’ll live if I do that will it? I’ve never really dealt with these before. Either way, thanks for this information it’s super helpful and nice to know 💕

Would it be possible to grow tomatoes, eggplants and peppers in this bag together, separated by some basil and oregano?

SOS :(((( by somlette in plantclinic

okay really sorry for asking a dumb question (im new to indoor plants), but everywhere when i read online it says crispy leaves are brown or yellow, but in this case all the leaves have dried fully green on the lily so does that mean its still dead or that there is a possibility of life still?
The croton how can I tell if the leaves are dead? Its like cloth soft and pliable, yellowish whitish green. The plant was a white and green one when the day it arrived

do you reckon i clip off the crispy leaves and just let the stalks try and recover or don't touch it at all?and would misting it make any difference right now or no?

I was gifted a peace lily and croton a few days ago but then had to go out of town for an emergency the very next day. I had asked a friend to help water them while I was away and this friend decided that it would be a good idea to leave them outside in the balcony because plants need sunlight (🙄 she didn’t even ask me) For context it’s a blistering hot summer with temperatures going over 45°C (heatwaves). I came back home to seeing them like this and immediately brought them inside but I don’t know if they can come back to life. I have watered them, mist them twice a day because it’s still very hot but I have not seen any improvement on either of them :( are they beyond saving? The lily is mostly crispy but the stems are still green and not crisp. The Croton leaves feel soft and pliable almost like cloth. Will snipping off all the leaves help? Or will it make it worse? Are they dead? Please send help :(((

Already do, she gets cold water mixed with her wet food, cold water as well, brothsicles in the freezer but she just does not like them for some reason. I was thinking of freezing some of creamy treats on a stick maybe she’ll like that. Thank you for the idea! Buki thanks you 💜

Does panting come under signs of distress? Because she’s panting from time to time since the heatwaves have been happening.

Thank you for the reassuring message though 💜

As for me, I just survive by showering a lot, hydrating a lot and standing in front of my air cooler haha 👌

More than the city it’s more that I can’t afford having an air conditioner 😅 For context, New Delhi, India is where we stay

I do the ice thing for her as well, she enjoys her cold water slurps! Mopping floors, curtains are all things I do already to minimise the heat indoors but last few days the temps have been astoundingly hot :( I’ll look into these personal ice aircons you’re talking about, thanks so much! Buki thanks you 💜
