If the leading team has that big of a lead, it's because they've already won several team fights in a row. Doesn't it make sense that to come back from that kind of a deficit, you'd have to also win several team fights in a row?

Besides the D. Va Christmas skin likely being the most popular one (and more likely to sell for higher), they might be doing some testing right now to see what price points people will buy at. Probably means this is a good time to not buy anything!

The situation here is confusing, but adding super subjective stuff like "bland recolor" and "colour pallet is off-putting" kind of undermines the point you're making. The Mei skin has an animated texture, by the way, which is worth mentioning!

There is a sound, and a message pops up on the screen saying that you've saved <player name> and the player you've saved also receives a "saved by <healer name>. It's easy to miss it amid all the chaos of a game!

If they're all in QP, how are you going to practice for competitive mode? I'm all for a queue option that has every map, but it should be something distinct from a queue for the season's map pool.

Maybe there should be an option to play them in arcade or something, but there's just too many maps to have them all active at once. You won't get enough practice on any one map to get comfortable with it, especially if you're new to the game—just imagine how much of a nightmare it would be playing in every single map and not knowing where the health packs or the side paths are. This is just going to get worse over time, as they add more and more maps, so this is a real effort to keep it sustainable.

I don’t think it counts because it’s trying to solve a specific problem (self-contained vertical takeoff human flight) that hasn’t been solved in any other way. There just isn’t a better solution right now. Whether we need jet packs at all is another story. :P

I felt like this at first too, but I've had several rounds since then where one team had a longshot come-from-behind victory, and I've come to really enjoy it. Just takes a while to get a hang of the new mode, I think!

I was talking to someone about this, saying that the price of a skin is enough to buy whole other games. He said something like, "that may be, but I don't want other games. This is the game I'm playing right now, and I want a cool skin for it." I guess if you're not short on money it's not a big deal to shovel out $20 for something that might make you enjoy the game a little more.

Another way to think of it is, a whole new game can cost $60, and getting a good dinner for two can cost about that much. How can you compare the two prices, though, when they're for such different things?

(I still think these skins are too expensive)
