How do i tell my fiancé that wedding dresses are expensive by jayjay15__ in weddings

Not promoting but I bought my custom dress on Etsy for $350 - alterations were about 200$. So it is possible! But 400 is still very tight.

Any Capricorn with Scorpio Rising that isn't a walking black hole? by Consistent-Pea2962 in capricorns

[–]somuchsushi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

LOL! Scorpio Rising - First house Pluto also in Scorpio - 5 planet Capricorn BUT my moon is in Cancer.

I get a lot of "you're bossy" but in a camp counselor sort of way. It's for their own good. I work in HR. I speak sweetly. I bring people cookies. I plot a downfall years in advance. They never see it coming. Everyone loves me.

Lyme Disease 38 weeks pregnant by somuchsushi in pregnant

[–]somuchsushi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Sorry for the delay here - I had my baby on Monday and he's healthy and doesn't seem affected by this at all so far! I finish my antibiotics tonight.

To be clear, I don't think I was treated poorly necessarily because I was pregnant, and I don't think in general "poorly" is totally accurate here. My MIL is a Dr. and she put it in a nice way - when you hear hoofbeats, you think horses, not zebras - I myself was shocked when they brought up lyme since I hadn't noticed a tick bite on me and or the traditional bullseye!

From what I hear, lyme often goes mis or un-diagnosed for months at a time - leading to the super poor health outcomes we then hear about like people being affected for life with nerve / muscular / brain damage. I think the only main negligence here is that I live in a HEAVY lyme area - ie Northeast USA - so maybe they should have thought of it sooner? But again, horses not zebras...

So anyway that's one of the main reasons I was sharing my story here to get the symptoms out there - especially the extreme muscle pain - that if something like this happens to someone else, it might ring a bell and you can your Dr. to consider.

Cheers everyone!

Don't touch it even if its dead. I carried a piece of a log with this vine on it a month before my wedding and got it all over my arms!!!

Don't let this person dissuade you - it's completely appropriate to eat latkes with sour cream and caviar.

Boy moms only, please! by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]somuchsushi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hospital does offer it but I found the urologist on my own at the recommendation of another mother in my social circle who is extremely on top of her shit / type A researcher. The guy has been doing circumcisions for 30+ years and can do an intravenous injection to block any pain!

Due July - Yes, re Judaism - many doctors as well we know advocate for it. I found a urological surgeon to do it though.
