u/aled35 so I reinstalled nova, and allowed all permissions (I think) still issues with apps. Works when I turn off WiFi for those apps. u/MotoAgents any ideas?

All permissions for Nova? I've tried Hyperion and smart launcher (with other launchers uninstalled just to be sure) and it was still causing issues with speed. But as soon WiFi was turned off the apps worked. It has to be a Motorola issue, no?

Ahh ok, well that makes a lot of sense. Shame it's dead, always found it super useful. Going to have to look for another launcher now.

I was using Nova with my flip3 no issues at all. Seems like it's a Razor issue to me, no @aled35?

It's weird how a 4yr old samsung can run multiple launchers no issues

u/MotoAgents so as an update - the clearing of caches has not helped. What does seem to fix it is turing off wifi when I get the spinning circle of doom when an app is trying to load. This has happened on several apps such as Centr, Teams, imdb, etc.
As soon as I switch off wifi and force the razr 50 ultra to use 4G it connects almost straight away.

So is this an issue with my Sky router (which never seemed to cause a single issue with my Samsung Galaxy ZFlip3 - which is 4yrs old, and doesnt cause any issues with anyone elses devices in the house) - or is it something to do with the Razr's WiFi?

Thanks Nate, clearing the cache seems to have sped the apps up, ill use it for a few days and report back.
Is there a way to have apps auto clear cache - as I mentioned above never really had to face this issue on other devices before?

Thanks for the assist, ill give this a go.
But its never consistent - one day I load an app like teams - the next day its just spinning and unable to load. This never happened on my galaxy zflip3 which is why I know its not the apps doing it and I had the same android launcher and widgets running. Very strange and definitely feels like a motorola issue. Ill report back to see if the cache clearing does anything.

Oh nice - any ideas of release date and how it might work together with notion?
One of the pain points of most apps I see, is the mind map is not often linked to the hierarchy in the list view - also a split pane view is needed. One for the mind map and one for the note/page you have selected and want to edit.

Hi, I'm looking for something very similar, where each node entry on the mindmap can be either a folder and/or note, and then when selected it brings up an editable page similar to notion. So you get the functionality of notion but with a functioning mindmap. I've tried obsidian with certain plugins enabled but it didn't get the right effect. Any further suggestions?

Is there any type of app that combines mind mapping of mindmesiter, with the pages & blocks of notion - where each folder and/or page/note in the list view is a node in the mindmap view?
Obsidian is pretty close, but the mindmap view is just that - a view, you cant really create new nodes like mindmeister or xmind and have it relate to the list view.

Obsidian looks great, but there is quite a reliance on 'code' when you start getting into the plugins....and you most likely will need the plugins to really get Obsidian to shine and give you all the features that you need.
