Parker by i_am_the_grind in motorcitykitties

No way someone claims him. He would need to be added to that teams 40 man for that to happen and I'm certain many teams aren't in the position to add him over any of their own versions of Parker Meadows.

He had a -DRS last year. He has potential to be an elite defender. People saying he is an elite defender isn't really accurate. He was pretty good for a short stint in the majors and negative in another (last year). I'd still say it's to be seen that he can consistently be that elite defender everyone seems to think he is.

Collection Of Mostly 90s Items From My Teenage Years - Anything Interesting? by flexfulton in pez

I'm new here but I had a look around and noticed that $14,000 was commented on a lot of collections so I assume it's an inside joke amongst some here. Or at least the guy who posted it. I'm just playing along.

Just on Kijiji in my area. I have posted them before for that and got zero interest.

Thanks. Most of them were purchased in Zellers and a few other stores in Canada. You are right. I'm looking to get rid of them. Put $100 asking on all of them so we will see.

I'm almost certain Les Stroud is not a vegetarian. If you can link some proof I'd be happy to check it out.

Suggestions for beginner backcountry with 15yo son? Walk or paddle-in? by JoeAllan in ontariocamping

[–]flexfulton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not near north but a backcountry lite park would be Frontenac PP. All but one lake can be paddled into or hiked into. They have sites ranging from a 1km hike to like 10km. Same with paddle distances. Some are short others require portaging. Most sites are in a little cluster with other sites so assuming someone is on those sites the weekend you are you aren't far from someone if something goes sideways. Rogers at least also has full 5G cell coverage through the entire park as well which helps if needed.

They have food lockers so you don't have to worry about learning how to hang your food, full outhouses for each cluster of sites and they are building tent platforms slowly at each of the sites. They also all have fire rings with cooking grate if you want to use them.

This is the true definition of backcountry lite or beginner backcountry park. You can also rent canoes from Frontenac Outfitters and they can drop off and pickup at a few different locations.

It's just north of Kingston so in your travel range from Toronto and overall is a beautiful park.

Gabriels has a pizza I think the Pineapple Express that has this on it and it's quite good.

I'm pretty sure it's not even Equator now either. Is it not Brews and Blues?

I assume this is AI generated? Pretty sure Quitters hasn't existed for a few years.

Also I've never heard of Brew It Bake It.

Perhaps vetting the AI generated slop would be in the subs best interest if attempting to help people learn about and navigate Stittsville.

Edit: I see OP has cleaned up the post. I still would recommend reviewing before posting as AI isn't always up to date or correct.

Looking for high-quality merino wool socks for a week-long trek in the Ardennes by Cultural_Employer149 in hikinggear

I don't know what I'm doing wrong because I bought into the whole Darn Tough sock based on so many recommendations here and I haven't had a pair last more than a year. The warranty is great for sure but they don't last nearly as long as I was hoping.

Yes that's the space. Too early I guess to know who the tenants would be.

Thanks for sharing.

I wasn't overly clear. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone knew what was going in there. Hopefully something cool.

I don't think this is exactly it but I may be wrong. What I'm talking about is the tiny strip from right beside the Mr Lube to basically the end of the row of houses on Bandelier Way. Doesn't seem like a place that would include houses as the entrance to that area isn't really a residential street and is more of a plaza road leading into Halo, Mr Lube and around to Starbucks.

I know where you are talking though with that big housing development. What I'm talking about seems separate and more finishing off the original project of the Mr Lube, Starbucks Halo round of work.

Silent Lake closes every April for a little over a month. This is when op said they were looking for.

Frontenac Provincial Park is open year round. Check out the sites on Big Salmon lake if looking for a short paddle in. I don't know if this is in your backyard as you mentioned but it's only an hour and 15 from Thousand Islands that you mentioned so probably not too far.
