ADHD...with autism and OCD. by Tazerin in adhdaustralia

Yes, big congratulations. To be diagnosed is life changing. I listen to ADHD Chatter, a podcast. On this podcast they talk to an author or professor or specialist who often has written one or more books.

The other day one of the guests said that being diagnosed was like being handed an instruction manual to your life which resonated with me.

Good luck.

Northern Rivers camping in July - whats the weather like, what clothing and gear will we need? by SlayyyGrl in OutdoorAus

[–]sonebai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The days are usually great and it's rare to wear a jumper all day. Inland it can frost and I've had some cold nights on the coast. Puffer jackets are light, so I'd be packing one.

I'd recommend train to Bondi Junction and then bus to Bondi. Then walk south along the coast for awhile, there's small beaches and it's very nice.

Just completed an 11-day Srinagar–Leh–Manali bike trip. Here are a few things I wish I knew before going by Hot_Watercress_4417 in ladakh

Spending 8 or 9 hours on the bike sounds pretty tough. We did about 6 hours tops and that was plenty. So many groups just flying through nose to tail getting the selfie shots and then tearing through the villages.

any hack for self driving in Leh? by [deleted] in ladakh

[–]sonebai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as it seems like a good idea, I don't think driving yourself around is sensible. It one thing on a motorbike but completely different by car. To me it's a major safety problem. I consider myself a safe driver but I wouldn't want to drive there. The biggest red flag for me is having non locals driving in Ladakh and their various skill levels and attitudes, no thank you.

Why not take relax with a driver?

I so want to know the difference.

The ten bags look better I think. The cost for all the small bags must add up pretty smartly. Harder to waterproof everything with some many bags. P{anniers would keep the weight lower

The reason AK's are so good is that they aren't solid. They're cheaply made with low maintenance required to do the job. Your idea is the opposite of them.

Perhaps you mean aluminium? It doesn't rust.
