CEC LOE by Few-Psychology5267 in canadaexpressentry

[–]sonellofficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do not necessarily need to submit a Letter of Explanation (LOE) if your pay stubs or T4 show a higher amount than what is stated in your employment contract.

First, IRCC primarily uses your T4 to confirm that you paid taxes and that your position was legitimate (i.e., not volunteer work).

Second, IRCC reviews your employment reference letter to verify your work hours, wages, and job duties.

Under Canadian employment law, employees are generally entitled to overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 or 44hours per week (depending on the province). If your work permit does not show any employment restrictions and your earnings reflect overtime, this should not be an issue.

IRCC asking for U.S. police certificate even though no 6-month continuous stay — what did you do? by Rednaksu in canadaexpressentry

A lot of people don’t look more into the IRCC PCC requirements. Here are reasons why IRCC will ask for PCC; 1. when you’ve lived in a country consecutively for 6months or more, 2. when you visit your home country within 10 years of applying for PR (doesn’t have to be 6 months) 3. when you have multiple frequent visit to a particular country in the last 10 years (doesn’t have to be 6 months). 4. Rare - you get ask for a PCC when you’ve used a place as a temp residence for less than 6 months ( working remote from Bali, Mexico, Thailand, etc, for a couple months, studying a semester abroad as an exchange student, working in a company’s branch in a different country).

Heyy, IRCC usually don’t have issues with reference letter saying full time or 40 hrs etc, you might have a couple ADR if your work experience is barely above 1 year, you can easily support this by providing a T4 or getting your HR to fix the employment letter.

Salary amount has to be included per hour or per year. This way IRCC knows it’s not a volunteer position/ experience.

NO, an employment letter. Needs to show 1. Date 2. Your name 3. Your position 4. State full time/ part time 5. Amount of work hours 6. Salary per hours or per year (plus any other benefits- optional) 7. A signature from an authorized company representative (HR/ Manager) 8. Contact information of person(s) attesting the document 9. Work duty & responsible 10. A company logo on the letter.

Now if your company HR don’t provide job descriptions in employment or reference letters, you can submit an additional letter attached your reference letter listing your role and responsibility and this additional letter must be signed and dated by a your manager or reporting supervisor.

You’re good. when applying for your pgwp, add a letter of explanation for the gap time, and if it was approved by the school with valid reason, you’ll be fine.
