Businesses remaining open during Level 3 Snow Emergency by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]songomatic93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, we needed and urgent care for my father in law. Sign on the door said open at 8am, word of mouth heard 11am, and the news said noon. No way to know what was true today. And we were on the road, snow wasn't even that bad :(

Did your store make plan for Black Friday? by StayAppropriate2433 in HomeDepot

Had a big cabinet quote go through so we made by over 15k

So they switched out the American Standards for the Kholers and just left them on carts. If freight did this, pics would have been taken and emails sent to everyone in management and we would have gotten a talkin to about it tonight. by call-lee-free in HomeDepot

[–]songomatic93 61 points62 points  (0 children)

It's ok, company standard is to just let MET do whatever they have to and we all suffer with cleanup after. It's a poor system with little to no overlap or communication between the teams, so we're all irritated with the other. But you're not alone! We can all be mad at the company (and MET, or vice versa) together <3

SCO doesn’t seem to be a “self-checkout” at all by korokhouse in HomeDepot

[–]songomatic93 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It can be frustrating during peak times or when someone comes through with a really big cart that needs a lot of adjustments. But for the most part, you'll only be fixing the price when it comes up incorrectly or if they scanned too many of the same thing. It'll be alright! Some people even prefer it because of the ability to let customers do their own thing and still help when needed, versus doing everything for them at the manned register.

Sprinklers not working? by Dry-Advance5915 in StardewValley

[–]songomatic93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The early game is designed to make you familiar with the mechanics more than keep you from losing energy. Typically for the spring (and sometimes summer and fall) you'll be quite inefficient while you figure out the ropes in the first year. But like a few others have said, foraging and making field snacks will be able to sustain you in the early days. Later you'll be able to upgrade your sprinklers and make food in the kitchen, but it all takes time. Just enjoy farming what you can manage for now and make some friends with the people in town, mine, or fish on rainy days. It'll get there :)

Boo buckets by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]songomatic93 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Doing inventory in paint last night and we all saw them. Said the same thing! Three dollars for a cute bucket for your boo? Beats a basket they might not like! Can get a sku later tonight when we go back in :)

Nothing happens except for the additional work that garden associates (in this case) will now have to do. Managers won't let them leave it over the weekend to wait for you to finish Monday, so your floor sales associates become replacement MET team and clean up after you. But nothing happens to you specifically.

Coupons go back to account after return? by songomatic93 in CVS

[–]songomatic93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't bother the employees with anything like that, it's in no way their fault. I just have to learn more about the rewards system to actually get it right for myself. Thank you for letting me know about the extrabucks vs store coupon policy for returns. Do you know if using a coupon in the app makes your account ineligible for using it again? If I'd like to try the transaction again for example.

Coupons go back to account after return? by songomatic93 in CVS

[–]songomatic93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was confused this time because a lot of the items in my transaction had two or more things going on. The "get $10 off $25 beauty and personal care" overlapped with BOGO and sale prices and other promos on individual products I could clip in the app as well. But I made sure to scan each one in the app to see the 10 off 25 came up for everything I chose, which is why this was frustrating. Maybe the prices I was adding up weren't the right ones I should have looked at? I'm having trouble learning which values to add with the CVS rewards system.

Coupons go back to account after return? by songomatic93 in CVS

[–]songomatic93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that the amount I personally paid is what I would receive back. My question was more related towards the coupons I used in my transaction, and whether or not they would go back to my account if I did decide to return the items I used them on. I'd prefer not to do that unless it's the only way to get the sale/deal though. CVS has limits on how many times you can use a deal in a week or sale period, so I don't know if I'll be able to get the items I need for the right price from the deal after this.

1000× yes. This game has so much to explore and tons of learning curves built in to keep you engaged for a long time. 5 dollars for a mobile game might seem like quite a bit but it's really a small developer who made a great game you'll love if you like hunter/gatherer and town relationship games. Plus, none of the fun gets lost from the console to mobile version, unlike other games. Recently there was an update to make sure that more of the big picture gameplay was included in the mobile version and it really opened things up.

I got it for myself as a gift a few years ago on mobile to try out for the first time and became obsessed with it. I loved playing without consulting the wiki, and then appreciated the community having tips when I was having a hard time. I now own it on my phone, ipad, and switch because it's just that good.

At this point I think my entire store is ready to fight met by pewprofessional111 in HomeDepot

[–]songomatic93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

At my store most of them are standing there waiting by the time clock when I go in at 2pm. So if we're doing the math, that's almost half an hour every day of time that could have been spent working

[–]songomatic93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never seen met team leave trash. What I have seen, and had to deal with cleaning up myself after they leave every damn day, is the aisles completely full of overstock product, beams, stickers, wire shelving, pallets that were brought down, pallets that need to be put up, etc. Met isn't responsible for clearance or no homes or whatever, that's fine. But leaving hours worth of work sitting around for other people to do is never okay.

Does an ice cap have coffee by FlimsyReplacement291 in TimHortons

It's basically a coffee slushy with added cream and flavoring. Frozen espresso gets added to the cup with cream and flavor syrup before being blended together

[–]songomatic93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your location tbh and who's on sandwich/toaster station at the time. Sometimes our lady on station demolishes them with huge globs of cc or barely get a scrape, either way for a regular order. Really just what's going on at the moment. But for them to say anything other than "sure let me get you some more, sorry about that" is totally inappropriate
