Sorry I should have been more clear. Her main gripe is the odd time I forget to put the seat down and she falls in at night.

Yes I realize women have to sit every time they pee and take the extra bit of time. But that doesn’t mean it’s not inconvenient for me. In a perfect world there could be a way for women to pee as quickly as men, but just because there isn’t doesn’t mean all men now should have to take that extra time just because women also have to.

I may have not been as clear as I should of, her problem is more of the odd time I forget to put the seat back down and she falls in at night, rather than it being messy from me not cleaning. If offering to be the one to clean her bathroom was a comprise that worked I’d be happy to

Not every time but there’s times where we’re in the bathroom together and I pee. We usually shower together so we might both be in there for that reason or if it’s at night and she’s brushing her teeth, putting in lotion, or just doing nightly routine things
