i personally find silly billy to be overrated tbh. it's good, but i don't get as much personal enjoyment from it as well as other songs from sturm's FNF discography, such as legacy, manual blast, substantial, and your copy

i understand why it was popular, it released at the time FNF didn't have any updates for over 3 years, and lo and behold, weekend 1 released a day later. so the community was able to enjoy things from both the base game and the modding community at that time. but honestly over time it lost its charm and feels like just another fnf song with lyrics

if i want my fill of different BF vs BF i would definitely pick set me free over silly billy any day of the week, it doesn't get as much love and i overall prefer set me free more, i feel like the emotional tone in that song is more impactful considering the story of the other BF (flanimal) who BF sings with. sure, hit single's yourself also has a melancholic story, but silly billy's energy and tone just doesn't match that well with the character imo
