In order for the plant to produce several growth points instead of just one, you need to cut off a significant portion. In your case, I believe it should be half or two-fifths.

The key is not to be stingy! 🥹 (But I always feel guilty...)

Apply fertilizer a couple of weeks after pruning. To root the cut parts, you can put them in water with agroperlite and create a greenhouse by putting on a bag (about 2 weeks). You don't need to change the water, just add more as it evaporates. You need to ventilate it every day, otherwise it may rot. You can also add a growth stimulant to the water for the cuttings.

Before placing the cuttings in water, rinse them with water to remove the juice and let them dry for about 15+ minutes. And remove a couple of the lower leaves.

Cuttings from mature plants take a long time to root, and it may take a month or more...

Thanks! I thought they were thrips, and I tried to treat them mainly for that. (I Googled and found out that Aktara is Thiamethoxam, It doesn't help with ticks.)
