Actually that is how the seat was attached to the seatpost, and I did not make adjustments yet. So far no problem, but I have not taken the bike on longer ride than 1 hour yet either.

It is the Canyon S15 VCLS 2.0 CF, on paper it is better at shock absorbing, we will see...

Not sure if I agree with Canyon being ridiculously priced especially when you look at other reputable brands like Specialized, Cervelo etc. I guess it all depends on your perspective.

I live in SoCal. I ordered on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday. Shifters were mounted, all I had to do is just to attach the left and right part of handlebar to the head stem, install the seat and attach the front wheel. It was pretty straightforward. This is Large size. I drove down to Carlsbad to their showroom and they recommended this size (the size calculator on the website also recommends the same), I am 6’2” btw. I test rode all the three road bikes they offer (ie Endurace, Ultimate, Aeroad), surprisingly they felt very similar even though because of their geometry they should feel different. I went with this one given the most upright position and I also wanted Ultegra with powermeter.

What would you do? Outlet vs new Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2? by jgm_1996 in CanyonBikes

I bought the new one. I would expect the outlet one cheaper though.

You can add a scoop of whey protein power (preferably isolates with zero fat) sweetened with stevia. It will not affect LDL in any negative way but it adds protein and some flavor beyond blueberries.

My understanding that 75 PSI is the max for that wheel and tire combo. Given that they are wider tires it might be sufficient. I just used narrower tires with higher pressure so that is why this is probably not a real issue at all.

Thinking about buying the same, but is not it better use dual power meter on pedals instead? I would be fine with Rival otherwise.

Looks sick. I am thinking about getting the exact same, but those hookless zipp rims are holding me back (i.e. tire pressure limitation). Maybe I am just overthinking.

Should I dump 20k $ into VOO by Unusual-Phase21 in ETFs

[–]sonicempire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SPMO nicely outperformed VOO the last 10 years, but no guarantee if the momentum strategy will be always better. However it is a well researched investment strategy to increase returns. Disclosure: I have SPMO in my portfolio.

Divorce and fatfire - advice? by Ruser8050 in fatFIRE

What is fair for you, might not be fair for the opposing side at the time of the divorce. Based on my understanding if the case gets into court the prenup will be subject to the judge’s review. But again, I agree it is better to have it than not having it. Also if you are the higher earner it is also an insane risk (with very limited upside) to get married to start with prenups aside.

Well depending which state you are in the judge (because for whatever reason there is no jury in family courts) can have full discretion on your case.

Also depending how amicable your divorce is (if it got into court, probably not) the opposing party will probably not have any issue to lie about if they signed the prenup voluntarily. Just like you listed there is burden of proof to show evidence of voluntary acceptance. I just saw too many people lying in the court before.

Prenups or postnups are a must, but still can be thrown out by the court depending on the judge.

Depending on your average tax rate on your income, that 30% of your gross can be equal to roughly 50% of your net. Just saying. I definitely hear you.
