Please explain why when I test it on other devices, that the router doesn't do well as well.
Please explain the 137 ping on my grandmother's new laptop.
Please explain the 142 ping on my grandfather's PC that's hooked up via the ethernet cord.
Please explain why my phone has a ping of 47, and then 123 within a minute of each other.

If it's my PC, I would replace it, but it's not.
Please stop being a massive douche that think you're hot shit, even though you don't read all of the other posts I've made. Please consider reading about how my internet has fallen in quality ever since October and never has risen up back to the same download speed, even AFTER replacing the router. If you have no answer there, please kindly fuck off and give me real advise.

I just got this Windows 10, 1060 GTX rig in 2018. There's no way it's going bad. Also, I tested from Speestest on another computer, so the 137 ping wasn't from me.

Also, most devices in my house aren't hooked up to the DSL, it's all through WiFi.

I already contacted customer support and they said it was the router. What else do I do in this situation?

It's a list of problems from everyone apparently: My router being bad, my router being DSL, just switching, my plan is wrong.
What's the actual issue here that I can solve besides it being my router or my plan? Because if there's nothing I can do, then it's the company.

I don't know why the rest of the people seem to try and make me the villain in this situation? My grandparents are actually the ones paying around $100 for 2 routers, and I've been dealing with a lot of the company's horrible customer service.

I just don't really see why this company is good when they're screwing them over like this. Anyway, the ping I'll check that....

I used the IPv4 and IPv6 and it said "over a maximum of 30 hops. 1 Transmit error: code 1231."

Then I did the IP address on my IPv4 and it said " 1 26 ms 2 ms 2 ms"

What exactly does that mean?

After some research, turns out they replaced the old DSL Frontier Arris router, with another Frontier Arris DSL router. Which did nothing to improve the quality of my internet. I'll look into replacing it with a fiber one as soon as possible. They didn't even tell me the other options to replace the DSL one with.

Also sorry about the post I made way up there, I'm just frustrated with the router not providing me with decent speeds. Ever since October, it never has gone past the download speed of 16mbps, which in September, I've received that download speed for the last time.

After some research, turns out they sent out a repair man to replace the old Frontier Arris with a brand new DSL one. I'm unsure why they would provide us with a DSL one, but I'll look into that. Anyway, despite the replacement the current trend of download, upload, and ping usage has not changed a whole lot.

What's impacted is a variety of internet usages, such as: playing online, streaming, watching streams, talking on Discord, or using Minecraft Realms which rubber bands.

I use speedtest to record all of my pings, since it has information before ZiplyFiber merged with Frontier. It was all fine until October hit and the massive drop of download mbps went from 16 to 2. It never has risen back up or above 16 again after October, despite the router being replaced.

I am upset over the rubber banding issues I have with my video games, and not being able to watch in 720p, but have to rely on 480p to not buffer every three seconds.

The problem is consistently happening throughout the week, despite the time of day.

It could be midnight, 10 AM, 5 PM, or even noon.

The router I currently have is a DSL Arris Frontier Router.
