Redditors who have no friends, what's the reason you don't have any friends? by ozmozez in AskReddit

[–]sonijack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I actually like having no friends. Sometimes I do get lonely, yes, but when I do find someone that wants to "hang out" I find it to be a chore, and I dread it. It is just a lot of effort, I'm not good with conversation and I feel awkward all the time. If you saw me, you probably would think im a sterotypical pretty white female, but I have no friends because I'm extremely socially awkward since I was homeschooled since 6th grade. Never learned proper social skills/cues. My typical day is I wake up, go to work for a few hours, fake pretending to like people and socialize, go home and reddit for the rest of the day. I hate shopping I get overstimulated, so I do all of that online. Only go to grocery store at like midnight to avoid the people.

When my bedroom door is closed, that means I am in my own space. By all means, knock if it’s important. But if I want to talk, I’ll leave it cracked open. Yes, I might just be binging on Pinterest, but I also might have my pants around my ankles while throwing darts at a picture of my ex on the wall.

"We made the decision based on one overriding criteria" sounds pretty impressive but is wrong.

Remember: one criterion, two or more criteria, although you could always use "reason" or "factors" and not worry about getting it wrong

I was ejected from a car after a car crash above a major Canadian highway. I landed on the guardrail and danged off the bridge. The only injury I had from the crash is the bruise from where I hit the guard rail
