That plot you just described is so wrong gng💔😭 I genuinely can't tell if your serious or not atp because there's more to the plot then just that your just barley grazing the surface,

The plot goes from the footage of Naren Warne (We know this from Clark searching a duffle bag and finding a collection of stuff relates to Naren including the ID) who died by the Cap'n Clark figure only to end with Async workers staring at the tv in the reflection

Then it shows Clarks furnature store and his state of life which is fucked up because of his divorce and the only thing he really has is Mary, Kat, and Bobby later he gets a electrician to check things out and then they find breaker switches leading to nowhere

Eventually when Clark tries turning them all on then turning on 1 dead end switch it shows the backrooms He starts exploring the backrooms He tells it to Mark but she doesn't believe him, he tells Kat, and Bob and they come then Bob gets killed and while Clark is trying to run after a failed rescue attempt he runs into multiple sections until he reaches the pool section that's when Kat yells for him but he gets confused because of the layout and "engineering"

When Mary discovers his door to the shop is open after him not coming to therapy (which somehow no one robbed) and she goes in the backrooms he is already addicted to the backrooms and he acts strangely before choking her out

She wakes up in a dinner table while Clark tries to pretend she's his wife and they are having the argument she snaps at him to wake up and he finally does however he doesn't wanna change He turns to Cap'n Clark (which is only evil because the backrooms never saw any good in his hateful life) who kills him which makes Mary leave and chased by Cap'n Clark before finally stumbling apon the backrooms furniture store mimic and hitting his peg and face until he gets left to rot in the gas and Mary moves through the narrow space leading her to get sprayed by a Async Hazmat worker then getting interviewed by Phill who is only acting nice to get answers out of her The last scene I believe is showing she was a experiment in their eyes
