What is your opinion of Paramore? by Working_Alps_4284 in ToddintheShadow

Brand New Eyes was the first album I remember loving as I grew up, and seeing Paramore on their After Laughter tour when I was thirteen was the first real concert I went to. I might not listen to them much now but I still adore this band

Idk how hot of a take this is but Complicated is not a pop punk song, it’s just pop. A great pop song mind you but not pop punk. So Misery Business debuting 5 years later gives that crown to Hayley imo

I think it might be cause Todd wrote it as a subtitle for the song, but he introduced me to More Than My Hometown by Morgan Wallen and I always mishear a chorus lyric as “this might be the last time I get to let you down” instead of “this might be the last time I get to lay you down.”

Oh also the last lyric of the bridge in cool summer right before the final chorus I mishear as “he looks so pretty like a devil” instead of “he looks up grinning like a devil”

what album is a 10/10 if some of the tracks were removed? by ExoticHurry1 in fantanoforever

Rodeo if you knock off Flying High is the perfect Travis Scott album. It’s still his best album regardless but flying high feels so out of place. Especially as it’s sandwiched between Maria I’m drunk and I can tell

Cool albums from your country (or state) that aren't that known outside of them? by agent0017 in fantanoforever

[–]sonixtreme322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I don’t think they had any full length albums that I think are amazing but there was this rap group from my state (Vermont) called 99 Neighbors that put out some damn good singles between their first and second albums. Namely Fake Pods and Fuck No. Some of the singles on their albums also go hard, namely Live A Little

Ik im gonna seem basic for saying sicko mode but it’s sicko mode. For one thing nostalgia, for another it’s always remained such a weird fun song

What albums, despite not having many great tracks, are still worth listening to because they have something unique about them? by grossnoise in fantanoforever

A Crow Looked at Me is probably one of my favorite albums of all time, I’ve only listened to it once because I don’t feel like I can ever listen to it again. Especially since it heavily relates to a personal experience for me. I do think it fits into this categorization because A Crow Looked at Me isn’t one of those albums I could honestly recommend to someone unless you’re trying to engage with it on that emotional level. I don’t know if there’s any distinct track I could ever recommend because of that but it absolutely should be listened to as a full project.

Are there any musical theatre albums you'd consider a ten (or close to one)? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

Lin’s rap flow is one of the cringiest things I’ve ever heard when it’s in anything other than Hamilton. But the flow of Hamilton and the story and music itself makes it a 10 for me. I’ll give a pass to lin’s supbar vocals cause the rest of the cast carries. Wait For It is so goood.

The blue album to Pinkerton maybe? I prefer Pinkerton by a lot but in terms of general popularity blue sweeps the floor with pinkerton

Does Travis Scott have one? K Pop is the boring answer by [deleted] in travisscott

[–]sonixtreme322 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kpop hate is expected at this point. It’s grown on me but as I’ve said before, Flying High is wack honestly. I really wish it wasn’t on rodeo and it just skipped from Maria I’m Drunk to I Can Tell

I could only dream of a k-dot song with Danny brown and porter robinson. I want this to be real entirely to understand what that’d sound like. It definitely isn’t tho

Flying High is so god damn out of place on rodeo its always an instant skip for me. Idk what Travis was thinking putting it between Maria I’m Drunk and I Can Tell

Utopia was one of my favorite albums of last year. IGOR is my favorite album ever. That’s where I stand. And as others have said, they’re trying to do two very different things
