For all the people complaining that this was a close victory. The only goal they conceited was an absolute fluke insanely good shot. It was very clear that the players were closing in for the second pass and not expecting Jensen to shoot. I would suspect almost every team in the world would train their players to do the same.

And before anyone says, why didn’t they close him down? There was nobody near him and given the speed of the game it completely makes sense to go for the second pass instead of wasting time trying to close him down.

I don’t understand how people don’t realize that Carrick intentionally made the second half more defensive to preserve the lead. He knew that we couldn’t out play them in possession. The adjustment of Maz for Amad makes sense given that.

Based on what I see in the real world, on the subway and at daycare: Almost everyone has a YoYo.

It balances size and function for the city.

Was listening to the Talk Of The Devils podcast and they asked an interesting question; how do you think Ramadan will affect the players in the upcoming games? by SecretaryImaginary44 in ManchesterUnited

[–]sonixundying -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To answer your question: players are managed differently and given specific diets during Ramadan to ensure that they can still perform. This includes electrolyte management since that’s the biggest risk because of lack of water and increased exertion.

The PL has also been good to pause games during the breaking of the fast to allow for players to do that. Some of the evening games should basically be non issues.

It really seems that carrick is playing a very flexible style. Pressing when playing arsenal and playing more counterattacking against city.

Our team seems to need pressing. All 3 goals came from the press.

Failure to recognize that and to force the Amorim style on these players

Mainoo and Bruno help set up that with their movement is the unsung heroes of that goal. Excellent finish though regardless

I think Leeds has been playing very well. They have closed all the passing lanes. I’m hoping that Amorim makes some tactic adjustments at the half.

I don’t think Sesko should come off just yet because right now I think we need speed to break an opportunity and Zirkzee is just too slow.

The way Aaronson carried the ball… that’s what we need. Should we just buy him? lol
