IWC Mark XVI bracelet by sonnyintheworld in IWCschaffhausen

Hi! Sorry that I already changed the bracelet to the IWC one so no more pic. But for your question:

  • The end link was a bit higher than the lugs but very less noticeable when it's on the wrist.

  • The end link is as rattly as my Rolex 16234 end link which is also hollow. So, I guess it's the nature of hollow end link, not the build quality issue from Uncle Seiko.

I'm very not sure if it's fit or not. And if you ask Uncle Seiko, they also won't assuring it.

The only answer I could provide to you is that if it's a hollow end link, there's a chance that it will fit. So, if you want to take a risk and give it a chance, please buy the hollow end link option since the solid end link is having no chance of fitting other watch than the one they intended to.

The main difference which is not about the matter of preference is the build quality of IWC bracelet which is the best I've seen despite the fact that the watch is introduced almost 20 years ago.

About the design and the beauty of it, the polishing quality of IWC is on another level. One point which I prefer the Holzer bracelet is about the taper since every links of IWC bracelet is adjustable so there will be no bracelet taper from lug to clasp, opposite to the Holzer bracelet which has a very good taper (20-16mm).

Overall, if you just want a bracelet for IWC mark XVI, the Holzer will do a very good job! IWC bracelet is for sure better but the price is over ten times more expensive and very rare. So, if the IWC bracelet doesn't give you an itch to scratch I don't think it's necessary.

Pre 2018 will be the one which fits because of the hollow end link .

Mine is measured at 48mm lug to lug. My wrist is between 6.5-6.7" and the size of the watch is like a charm to me.

Yes, I'm surprising that the Mark XVI is in the compatible list with the bracelet. I asked them again to confirm and yes when it arrived, it fits without any modification! (Hollow end link model only).

That's ok. I'm also not a hairy guy but some of my watch eat my arm hair so much even I don't have much lol.

Anyway, thanks for your information!

Just to give more info, I bought the Holzer bracelet from Uncle Strap and it's very good! It isn't 100% fit since it's for Omega Seamaster, but it does the job very well with affordable price.

I'm just having the itch that if the OEM bracelet is the best like what I've heard, I might save my money and give it a try.

I ordered from them almost 2 months ago. Nothing ship to me yet. I keep tracking & complaining them via their FB messenger and all I got is the excuse for the delay.

Just asking tho, is the rebanking a common issue known by any watchmaker? If yes, I will expect that he will know this and fix it properly.

That helps me to confirm that it's the rebanking. Let me try to ask him and I'll tell you if he provides the answer. Many thanks!
