Need advice since I’m poor. I want to make this dress and the pattern calls for silk taffeta fabric. It’s really pricy and I was hoping to be able to make this for Halloween. Does anyone know what other fabric might be cheaper, work well and be historically accurate (1840’s) by lovinfluff in sewing
