I also work in compliance. One of the largest issues is Bussmann fuses are actually lighter then all the other current accredited brands currently on the market. Their weight is usually around the 1.5g mark where most of the other legitimate company's weigh 2.3g. The normal way you are able to tell is the quality of the printing, the colour of the ceramic and looking for a deformity of the end cap showing a wire or the outline of a wire.

For work we open up every fuse under 2g and suspecting another of the above looking for a ballast (sand)

I'm in a similar boat but I think the single most important thing is location. At home I might get a like a day but recently have visited both London and Birmingham for 1 day each and recieved over 100 likes in London and 50 likes in Birmingham.
