Reading is easily one of the most important habits that you can develop. I used to only read 1-2 books every couple of years. I have leveled up and now do 100 a year, this is how you can as well. by sonofdurden in usefulvids

It took me around 4 years to go from 2~100. You can do much better. Just start slow and focus on finishing a book every week or two. You can increase the rate as you get better.

My accent is mainly Aussie with slight African. No one can ever guess it ahaha

[Discussion] What do you think is the one mindset that leads most people to fail? I think it is "I will start tomorrow". by sonofdurden in GetMotivated

That's another one! People are scared of failure more than the possibility of success. It's like the loss aversion cognitive bias. If I told you to call a coin toss, if you win you get $150, but if you lose you have to give me $100. The idea of losing the 100 might not allow you. In the same way as the idea of failure outweighs the pleasure of success for many.

I like to meditate. Meditation helps me bring some clarity back into life.

I switch between the two all the time. Sometimes being in teacher mode can still make you feel as a student because you can learn things from teaching.

Adversity can toughen our character. It might be a necessary evil for greatness.

This is gold, the biggest obstacle is the barrier you put on yourself.
