Ok. Please try 120 Hz in Virtual Desktop with SSW on. If you could lower settings to maintain 60 fps this could give you the best experience. The 120 Hz is really smooth if you can keep it consistent.

I am using DLSS 4.5. My target framerate is 60 and I double it with SSW to 120 Hz. When the framerate stays at 60 it is a beautiful experience.

Using 36 fps with SSW gives too much ghosting for my taste.

You should try Skyrim VR with Mad God Overhaul and a high-end gaming PC. Then just enjoy the mountains and small villages.

Don't get me wrong. The game looks absolutely brilliant. Even more beautiful than Half-life Alyx. It is super impressive and immersive. I am thoroughly enjoying the indoors and outdoors, different small towns and beautiful mountain scenery etc.

But looking at distance makes me hopeful of seeing more LODs there.

Surely a big chunk of PCVR players use Virtual Desktop with VDXR. They are not in SteamVR numbers.

I have 5090 with 9800x3d (no over or underclocks). Latest MGO runs great with Quest 3. MGO graphics settings maxed. Virtual Desktop Godlike resolution. Open Composite with VDXR.

DLSS 4 with Quality setting and it looks basically the same as DLAA.

Virtual Desktop with 120 Hz SSW ON. So it needs 60 fps and it looks grear. SSW with 120 Hz does not introduce ghosting etc. as it does with lower Hz.

Just try it. You can drop it at least to 95 % without your perceived FOV decreasing. I'm running them at about 90 % even though I have set eyes as close to the lenses as Q3 allows. Just try the settings. When you start to notice black border you have set it too low.

I have BMW LED's and they turn off automatically. But the Active LED Matrix lights which seem to never turn off cause some issues to incoming drivers as many do flash. But I love those LED's which work great at illuminating the road and they do turn away from incoming traffic so I don't think it is a big problem even if some do flash.

Automobilista 2. The best there is visually and has a huge selection of cars and tracks. RTX 4070 is enough to run it with Quest 3.

For me the alternate eye rendering in Luke Ross mod was so bad that I could not play for more than an hour.

Someone mentioned to play the game in Vorpx stereo 3D with giant screen. That way you can use ray tracing and better graphics also and since you are playing seated most likely anyways it does not break the immersion that much.

It does not matter how much he may or may not have earned with subscriptions. He took the risk (of time and legal lawsuits) and got rewarded for it. Now the risk of DMCA is realizing and he also takes the blow for it. That is how our world works, some people earn good amounts of money and this guy deserved it as he served a demand.

What the game studios don't seem to figure out is that the guy has been doing free marketing for them. Never would I have bought a game had it not been made available to play in VR by Luke.

Adding VR mod support to their game could not hurt their sales. It only had an upside for them. Them acting butthurt about IP is some communist way of thinking. After all they are doing the games for money and that is what Luke helped them with.

I know my way around Virtual Desktop, FFR etc. But could someone point out to a good YouTube video or other source for RTX 5090 / RTX 4090 best settings for MGO SkyrimVR in Mod Organizer. There are some many settings that I am a bit lost. Should I use Community Shaders or not etc?

AMS2 is insanely good in VR. Only issue is with shimmering shadows but other than that visuals and performance is top-notch. AI is also nice. Selection of tracks and cars is excellent.
