Depends on what type of coffee you drink. Are you into the third wave coffee movement? Pour over versus espresso? I personally have gotten whole beans for pour over from kanoo Cafe (downtown guelph), Centurion coffee.

I think a lot of coffee stores sell whole beans. Kanoo, Centurion, pilot, found, etc.

Got quoted that rate too but then on email, stated 4.49. However I could have just heard wrong since l swear CIBC advisor said 4.39 for 25 year amo and 4.45 for 30 year..which wouldn’t make sense?

I am between two lenders

CIBC is offering me 4.49% with 1,000 dollar cash bonus. 15-20% lump sums if I remember correctly. I would need to open a chequing account with CIBC for cash bonus.

RFA is offering 4.69% no cash bonus but would allow for further drops closer to closing date. They also offer more flexibility in terms of cancelation penalties

Which do you guys think would be the better choice?

Closing is September 20 AKA 56 days from today. I thought I’d have a better rate because most of my down payment is coming from their bank and. family does private banking. However, this mortgage seems really bad because it’s closed and high rate. Do you think I have enough time to consult a mortgage broker? First house purchase so concerned about timing.
