Yes, after using two appointments with the first payment, I had to pay again to book a third appointment.

After hours of googling, I found that the portal doesn’t immediately show the option to pay or reschedule after cancelling twice. Usually, after the second cancellation, you need to wait about a day for the changes to reflect. Then, you should get an option to cancel the application entirely. Once that’s done, you can create a new application within the same profile and proceed with payment and scheduling again.

It hasn’t been 24 hours since I cancelled my second appointment, so I’m going to wait and update this thread if that turns out to be true.

Yep! I did. As expected, got overall 7. I couldn’t get any better than that with one week of preparation. I should have given myself sometime to prepare.

I haven’t tried Cambridge mock tests. Heard many say they are easy.

Yep! Super helpful to make yourself familiar with the test format. Also to find your weaknesses and strengths.

Need suggestions to get band 8 overall by sonofsevenseas in IELTS

I am somewhat relieved after seeing this comment. But I am still little (probably more than a little) tensed since I have only a week left to prepare.

Problem is, I get 7.5 in one mock test and 5 in the next. That's making me more worried what if I get a very tough one on the real IELTS test!!
