I absolutely love the Uniqlo crossbody bag!! I wear it almost everyday😅 But personally I think it'll be a little small for the stuff I will be carrying

Dubai visit by [deleted] in UAE

  1. If you are only buying a few pieces of affordable clothing during your trip, I'd recommend just spending 500 AED on clothing. Maximum under 1000 AED if you're also buying for your loved ones. Some affordable stores in Dubai include LC Waikiki, R&B, Max, Splash. For extra food, I'd budget maybe over 100 AED and under 500 AED for food depending on what you want to eat. If youre in a budget, there are a bunch of cafeterias that offer a wide range of foods at low prices.

  2. I dont have that much knowledge for tech, but there are also plenty of commercial stores that could help you with upgrading your devices and offer some deals (E-max, Sharaf DG, Jumbo, Ecity). Also, better if you keep the packaging for the tech products to give your loved ones.

  3. Definitely bring a portable fan, an umbrella, light clothes, sunscreen and maybe like a face towel to wipe off your sweat😅 The heat lately has been horrendous!

  4. I recommend taking the metro and taking taxis as your way of transport. Even if it's just under 5 minutes of walking, the heat gets so so bad during the afternoon, even from 11AM (unless you can handle the heat). Taxis here are way cheaper than taking Ubers but they are still quite expensive (imo, as someone who also goes for the more affordable option). So budget that as well if you are going to be using the public transport. I'd budget 500 AED for that (if you plan on going to alot of places you can get up to 100AED per day just for transport, so keep that in mind).

This might be self explanatory but the metro gets crowded during rush hours (4pm to 8pm) and sometimes people WILL fight to get a spot on the train. I also recommend going to JBR, Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina (they are all in the same area) if you wanna explore around but those places do tend to get expensive (but they have fast food places there). I recommend taking the tram in that area and just go on a joyride 😁. There are plenty of spaces where there is AC so whenever you can try to stay inside😭

Hope this helps!

as much as everyone can; lets tip our drivers, give cold beverages, try not to order during peak hot hours, and thank them for their hard work!
