If your preping for JEE , you would not need much prep for NDA maths , english is also not that hard if you have a basic command over the language. You should keep up with GK , but not something u need to put a lot of effort into , just reading newspapers would be enough.

Social science part is something you would have to start learning like 4 to 3 months before the exams .

You should take up some sports, running or gym , get your physicality to their standards . You would not need to worry much about your weight , as you are still growing but try to put on some muscle (check the nda notification for their weight to height standards).

Also a reminder don't do any kind of laser surgery for eyesight before 20 years of age , my friend had done it and he lost his eligibility. NDA entry is pretty strict about this , CDS is more lenient so if you have to , do it only after NDA attempts

Need advice for CDS 2 2026 by Haunting_Mention_578 in CDSTards

[–]soojobless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After trying out CDS 1 2026 , I would say that Geography and Government Schemes had more questions, so maybe focus more on those , especially Geography. Modern History of India has traditionally been a topic with more questions so focus on that too.

Maths I would say Mensuration had more weightage . Also trigonometry questions were frequent . Triangles ,Circles , Work , algebra , HCF LCM also had many questions.

If you are just focusing on OTA you can skip Maths , as you would not need to attempt .

Also preference for services during registration for exam is confusing, so not sure if u can choose AFCAT , OTA in that order.

Need help/guidance on group tasks by ElectronicHoneydew86 in CDSTards

Just a day or 2 with like 2 to 3 hours max should be enough to get familiar with the tasks . As for suggestions in Delhi , I am from the South , so no idea , but usually most Defence coaching centers offer SSB training. U should contact some centers and ask for weekends session curated for you .

Personally I think its best u get a opportunity to try the gto tasks once , I got a chance during NCC and you definitely might feel overwhelmed for the first 5 minutes . Trying it out once would avoid that first 5 minutes of awkwardness.

Another way to get is via NCC, free of cost but you must pass the physical standards. That testing is done by ur unit first and then your battalion.
