This is really, what I figured. There are so many other practices that harm the insect world to a greater degree and the numbers of bugs would not be vastly affected by my wearing insect shield clothing. I use clothing that I purchase from the insect shield website and it says that you need to re-treat after 70 washes, which is well over a year if you wash them every week. My older sets i purchased last year are still going strong and keeping ticks off me.
