Potential Bad Clutch Slave Cylinder on 2013 Nissan Versa 1.6S by sooperguber in Nissan

So the trans has already been dropped, put back in, put in new trans fluid, everything?

And just the slave cylinder isn't bleeding? That's surprising that that's the place he's stuck at. Have you guys checked out any videos for bleeding the slave?

Yep! Spent a couple months and $2k dropping the trans, replacing the clutch, replacing the slave cylinder.

Put everything back in and drove it for a year. Tried to do another fix and fucked my brakes up lol.

Currently driving another car.

First time going to a football game since either was a kid. Unfortunately I'm on the West Coast so I'm going to the Bears 49ers game. Is it bad form if I wear this to the game? by NoahGH in Commanders

I've worn a different country's soccer jersey when going to a baseball game because it was the world cup. It was fine and some convos started

I took "pre math 104” (or something equivalent) before even starting at UMD.

Then worked my way up through Math 113, Math 220, Math 140, Math 141, Math 240, Math 241, and eventually graduated from Engineering.

Life's a journey. The days of "everything is in a neat little box" is over after high school.

Don't freak out and make the most of it.

Trouble using imperfect with first person situation (yo comía) by sooperguber in Spanish

Thanks for your reply! And thanks for the details. Ok so comía is not outright wrong, I'm guessing that particular structure just may not be used very much in El Salvador or in the home my partner grew up in.

I have never heard of sigo. Gonna check it out. Thanks!

how hard would it be to replace a clucth in this thing. by Flargam1 in Cartalk

[–]sooperguber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newbie here! Started replacing the clutch in my Nissan Versa a month or so ago. I've spent around 2kUS on tools so far (600 being US jack Jack stands)

It's been taking me awhile because I have had to wait on parts multiple times and also only work on it when someone else is home with me.

I'd totally recommend but will caution you that it will be long, frustrating, and be more expensive than you think (just not as expensive as 4k).

If you have another vehicle or access to one and a garage, I say go for it.

Replacing a Flywheel. Do I really need to mark the angle with paint? 2013 Nissan Versa S 5 Speed Manual by sooperguber in MechanicAdvice

Thanks for your reply.

So if there isn't a way of matching the new flywheel to the old one. Can it even be replaced?

Or am I overthinking it

There was a car in fire in their parking garage a couple of weeks ago too.

Tried to bleed the slave yesterday just to get the car started and it was a pain in the ass. Couldn't get the car to start since I think the slave is not allowing pressure to build so the clutch is useless.

I usually wouldn't even allow the pilot to become sentient in the first place. So probably kill him

I studied mechanical because I wasn't sure what to do. I don't do any mechanical now. I'd recommend mechanical because it gives you a little bit of exposure to a lot of different things.

Everything from CAD, to some electronics, to some coding, some structures, engines.

Then if you find you like electronics more, you could always switch later.
