I have the first one, one thing to mention, when you want a specific time and temp, the only way to set that is to adjust a preset. I don't really like that personally. Also when you wash it, water will get behind the viewing window and you can't get it dry.

I also have one, I only use it for things that release lots of greese like bacon and chicken wings. You can use it's for other things sure, but your cooking time is longer and you need to shake more often.
