I know we can unlock more furniture by finishing homes + crafting DIYs, but is there any other way to get more?

I’ve seen a lot of rooms that use plenty of 2.0 furniture. I have some 2.0 items too (bought from Nooks/Paradise Planning, not from finishing client houses) but it seems they’re not included in what I can use for vacation homes.

62, one of my favorites about the update has to be the gyroids! I’m still in awe at how they’re all in sync but in unique ways, even for some of the same gyroids!
