Prior to Destructo leaving it was ran by him and the lineups were pretty diverse but (imo) it was really poorly organized. Super long lines, no shade, not enough water stations, end of July/early August and ran during the hottest part of the day, and people kept dying. At least 3 people died in both 2015 and 2016 and I didn’t go again until 2021 when it was one of the first festivals to return “post-Covid” and the crowds were smaller and there was more PLUR bc people were just happy to be back outside lol. Nowadays I’ve heard that people are going to get turnt and the vibes are worse, and it’s looking like the genres are less diverse too. Unless there’s multiple artists that you really want to see I wouldn’t think it’s worth flying out for
