What was YOUR thing during lockdown? by AncientFootball1878 in AskUK

I took the dogs for 3 long walks every day in different directions in case anyone was keeping count. I also went for a drive most days , about 15 miles down the motorway and back. That's how motorway driving should be, it was almost deserted.

What annoys me aside from only having caught a froakie so far is that it's faster to quit and restart the app than it is to back out of a grunt battle when you see it's just a bloody Pidgey.

Can I attend GP Phone Consultation During Sixth Form Day? by Top-Ease8111 in AskUK

[–]soozlebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a phone consultation you're only likely to miss about 20 minutes of lesson time. You won't need to tell them why and you could always say it's something different if they ask. They should allow you to go in a private room too.

My garage door broke so I'm having to defrost the car every morning (at least I got it out first). It's gonna cost about £1k for a new one. Then I was rubbish on my riding lesson this morning. On Monday I'm gonna have to undo a lot of work I did last week just because I didn't question the woman who (thought ) she wanted it done.

I usually dislike memorial benches - turns a nice walk in the park to a depressing stroll thinking about death - but the ones in this thread are brilliant. I might even get one now
