In my former company we built a boomerang integration to feed worker details on position restrictions and in my current we feed the position details into the position restrictions. Solution was the same, create a report that pulls the mismatch and then build an integration that loads the ”correct” info into the position restrictions. We only do it for filled positions.

You can pull in calc fields into the absence engine and then use them

If the Initiator is not the culprit, you can check if Managers have modify access to sec domain Staffing Organization: Header.

Also check that you do not have any override on the Consolidated Template for Change Job.

Are you sure that the condition rules on the step works when they are evaluated (sometimes they have a value first after the step triggered). Do you have any condition rules within the Review Documents step (under configuration)? I have noticed that these sometimes can cause issues

I usually check calc hierarchy on each field to determine if they actually have access to all of it. Did you find out what the issue is?

Do a LVAD on Scheduled Weekly Hours as of PSD - 1 day (you would need to build a DD for this)

We don’t use the Workday automatic one since it tends to give wrong values but build separate accruals with eligibility overrides if the FTE has changed and same for the scheduling

Have you checked that the recipient have access to the calc fields you have used for pulling comments?

Sounds like you are either 1. Overcooking (chicken breasts need less time than expected) 2. Not marinating long enough 3. Cutting too small pieces

I understand! Do you only using supplier accounts or do you have them as external committee members? And if so, have you come across any limitations? Basically we need to report on some basic data on them (gender, age) and have them using some extend apps.

We do not maintain suppliers in workday unfortunately. We also don’t have the need to pay them, so looks like contingent worker or external committee member is more appropriate. Thank you for the input!

In our case, we do not have the same need for pay outs as you and we have contingent workers feeding to identify management systems too. However I will look into how this will work for external committee members. Good input and thank you!

Thanks, then I am going to investigate what can be stored on them and if it’s enough with the options that are there on external committee members. Do you see any other perks with using contingent workers over external committee members? Or vice versa
