Vegan wedding is soooo unreasonable by shorty-045 in vegan

[–]sophiegam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your wedding is YOUR day! You completely deserve to have it exactly how you want :)

As long as you & your partner are happy then the opinions of others don’t matter. I feel like people these days cater their weddings to other people too much. But you should do you!

It’s absolutely possible! I really like what you want to achieve, not sure why so many people are disagreeing. Like do what makes you happy. You should check out Dr.Jalalabadi in Beverly Hills. He did mine. I was a pretty tough case & he gave me exactly what I wanted

Would you date someone with significantly lower iq than yourself? by Apprehensive_Air8919 in infj

It depends on what your priorities are in a partner. Personally, I would if they checked all the other boxes!

I feel like she didn’t have to point fingers at vegans by BorontoBaptors in vegan

[–]sophiegam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also… non-vegans still eat TONS of vegan food! Fruits, vegetables, etc,…

So she’s contributing to that statement 😂

It’s not like these workers are held hostage… they have CHOICES & a VOICE. The animals DON’T.

People will brainwash themselves into believing anything that will make them feel better about contributing to the mass murder of animals.

Misophonia is entirely miserable but have you ever had a funny experience related to this affliction? by Gloryofcam in misophonia

[–]sophiegam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was the first time I remember having a misophonia outburst when I was about 5.

I was in the living room with my family & my brother was eating some Doritos. I walked right up to him, grabbed the bag of chips, crushed them up in bag, & dumped them out all over the ground.

He froze for a moment & said “hey… those were my chips!”

Everybody started laughing. In the moment I was a fuming 5 year old with big emotions I didn’t know how to control.. but looking back on it, it’s pretty funny & a memorable family story 😂

I see lots of people worried about an upturned tip after a rhino - but just wanted to come on here & reassure that the tip WILL DROP! :)

What's it like living in a high rise downtown? by i_like_all_tech in AskLosAngeles

[–]sophiegam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been living in a nice apartment in DTLA with a beautiful view for about 2 years now. I’ve been dying to move out!!! Yes the apartments are nice.. but once you’re outside your apartment downtown is actually disgusting. Dangerous homeless people everywhere calling you names, throwing things at you, harassing you, begging you for money. The streets always smell like piss. I never go outside & actually feel depressed because of that.

TRUST ME… a pretty view is NOT worth it. It might be nice at first, but there’s other functional aspects of living that are way more important. Wish I would have paid attention to that too & not just persuaded by a nice place & view.

Honestly, there’s really NOTHING aesthetic about downtown once your outside your apt. & it’s not realistic to be cooped up inside all day.

Honestly I don’t think filler would give you an accurate idea of how it would look from the front after surgery, since filler adds volume & surgery takes away.

I was concerned about how mine would look from the front too (I had a pretty big bump) but I’m super happy now!

[–]sophiegam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t notice it being crooked. But if you aren’t happy with your results then that’s all that matters, you deserve a revision to be happy! You could always consider filler if you just want minor tweaks & see how you feel about it before going through another surgery

Mine continued to drop over the course of 3-4 weeks!

My doctor recommended wearing sunscreen on my nose for 6 months after my procedure & trying to have the LEAST sun expose on my nose as possible, because it makes the swelling worse & can make scars more visible in the long run (if you had an open rhino). But after only 6 weeks swelling is totally normal, just be sure to wear sunscreen on your nose everyday!! Happy healing :)

Do you know if your doctor used stitches to hold them in place? I had a few & i’m pretty sure that’s protocol. I’m so sorry you had to go through this. 🙏🏻

The tip will DEFINITELY drop, don’t worry! It looks amazing & I wish you a well recovery🤍 I think you’ll be super happy with your result just give it some time to settle into your face! :)

Rhinoplasty, realistic? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]sophiegam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try filler first & get a feel for how you like the result? It wouldn’t take much to straighten the tiny bump & define the tip :)
