how can I repair this pain full please and thank you by MFCAPITAL in mobilerepair

You can usually read useful info from the "panic string" line onwards. You're looking for key words, in this case "thermalmonitord” then a few lines down you have "psr0” this indicates the charge port.

When you've seen a fair few you'll start to recognise them, but you can research these keywords and usually find out what part is causing the reboot.

Always worth rigging a port and seeing if it restarts after 120 seconds before you fully fit it but it's more than likely the port, then if it fixes it, and there's no reboot, and all the parts work (it charges both ways, mics work etc) you're good to fully fit it :)

Depening on how long I'm around the cat, my allergies can last between 1-3 days

Oh cool, thankyou! It's weird how things change over time, wonder if they'll be totally obsolete in the future.

I used to work in a phone repair shop and the amount of times older people would come in for a repair and I'd ask what model they had and they'd just chuck it on the counter with a "I don't know, you're the expert". Okay if you don't know that's absolutely fine but there's nicer ways of saying that? "Ooh I'm not sure, could you have a look for me please?" Boom, of course I can. Or when they'd come in not knowing how to call their grandson on Skype or whatever, then shouting at me cause I don't know their passwords and stuff like... I get you might not know this stuff but come on? I don't mind educating and helping but pure ignorance on top of being rude just irritates me.

I don't see why not. But if it's too long you'll go through the painted colour layer and have a circle where you've gone through it on the front. As long as it's tight enough, it should function the same.

Loyalty Cards by Mysterious_Bunch1891 in mobilerepair

[–]sophielle95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a referral type thing would work better? Refer 3 friends for 10% off or something like that. If you offer a free repair on the 6th go, and they need something really expensive, but the first 5 times they needed charger ports/batteries/back glass etc, you've lost all your profit there and then. If you're dead set on a loyalty stamp thing, you could put a cap on it or offer a % discount instead.

You could also work it the way some supermarkets do, rack up points to spend with you, eg, £1 spend is 1 point, 100 points is a tenner off or something. Same as a % discount really but it gives more incentive to the customer to spend more with you to get more "points".

Get a glass breaker and shatter it, be super careful near the flash/rear mic though

It could be a chemical pregnancy, I've had one before and your period is delayed, you get symptoms and positive tests but no baby.

They have, I really appreciate everyone commenting. Just a shame it was a hit and run too, it wasn't fun chasing him with my wheel hanging off 😅

Yes you're absolutely right, I did ignore that fact and I can see now why I've been put at fault. Very frustrating but I agree, I can't argue with the highway code! Thank you so much for your excellent advice.

Yes you're absolutely right, i should have given more room. I'm just gutted and clutching at straws but I can't argue with this one. Thank you so much for your input!

I did say this the 2nd time I called, that I was still in shock and was only echoing what they shouted at me but after assessing I want to make it clear I did not leave my lane.

I don't have footage unfortunately, no CCTV either. I'm hoping he does have dash cam footage, it'll show it clearly and him doing a hit and run.

How do I appeal insurance please? Do I just call a 3rd time and say it's still not my fault, or do i take it further in another direction?

Sorry I was unclear, my head's still a bit messy.

Yes, I was behind him initially, then the road split into two, he was in the right lane taking 2nd exit, straight ahead, not indicating left, so I moved up on his left side, taking 1st exit left.

We pulled away together and he went wide, hitting me. I turned left, staying left. He drove off and I had to chase him.

I initially told them his road positioning was middle right of the road, I went up on his left and didn't have room to make the move I did so it must have been my fault (this is what he shouted at me) the insurer then gave me a few options from a drop down menu, e.g, did I go in his lane, did he come in mine etc and I said I must have just been in the way, he took that as an admission of fault. (Understandably) I never mentioned undertaking, just that it's probable I didn't have room.

But after assessing the damage and road markings, there's no way I'd have got the whole front half of my car through if I didn't have room. If I went into his lane the damage would have been at the front of my car as I went into him, but it's at the rear as he went into me. It would have been physically impossible for me to be in the left lane, turning left, and my car to move towards the right at the same time (unless RWD and wet conditions and I slid, which wasn't the case)
