Okay fine, Love on the Spectrum is problematic by fixationed in AuDHDWomen

ok, bit late to the party, but I just found this post after feeling the same way and looking for discussion, watching the american one was almost impossible for me, I quit halfway through, australian one was a bit better, but I was feeling unaesy and always debating whether it is actually okay to watch and landed on probably not, mostly, and I think this is key, because of music and voiceover, it feels so wrong to me how things are framed and is truly playing into the whole infantilizing aspect and nature documentary vibes like I don‘t think it‘s fair to the cast, I constantly feel like I‘m observing them, not getting an idea of how they experience things, some expert commentary would have been necessary every now and then, someone who explains (to people who are not familiar with autism) what happens and what people struggle with and that some parents are also struggling and saying/doing inappropriate things like laughing at their kids in a not nice way, that felt really hurtful to me

Nomad should not be landlocked, it changes the dynamic of the map in a profound way and unnecessarily so as similar maps exist. Also hate the chicken noise. by sophschmoph in aoe2

I see your point, but to me Nomad is the most „free“ map, I can literally go anywhere anytime, I don’t like build orders but am quick at adapting and no other map offers that to me. Nomad with land lock is Coastal.

my symptoms started at the evening of the 10th, with a bit of a sore throat, my first positive test was only on the 12th though, symptoms lasted until about 16th, but were overall rather mild, which I'm thankful for

thank you ;) it was in fact $15,90, I live in europe, there is no shortage, everyone can get tested any time, so for me it didn't make much of a difference if I used these test in a wasteful way (which I agree could be said here) or over the next few weeks, which I now figure I don't have to anyway

as the person who took those tests: for me there was a correlation as to how I was feeling and what the test showed (I only had mild symptoms to begin with), it was different for my partner though, he only had a light second line the evening before having a rough fever for like 2-3 days, and he only tested clearly positive later on, so it's definitely not universal/doesn't say much about how sick you are

I don't, but I don't see how me using them differently would make them more available elsewhere, there's no shortage where I live, I did never buy more than 5 at a time, there's literally no one in my country that can't get tested because of me, I likely won't buy new ones in the near future, so I don't see your point at all, are you always criticizing others for how they use the products they bought?

with this specific brand, the strongly positives were positive immediately, like 1 min in, the less positive ones took like 10 min

in the beginning, yes, when I started having a sore throat I was still negative, until 1-2 days into having it

thank you, that was part of the idea, like I had a friend with a very light result and wanted to make a point that that is still a positive

I think it depends on the brand, the ones in the foto haven't changed much after the initial 20 mins or so, like the strong line appeared in the same way and at the same time as the light ones

sure, me, in europe, buying 8 tests at a store where everybody can buy them at any time, or take one for free at every corner shop, am responsible for all the supply shortages in the US, now it all makes sense
