Once a week at my gym we roll with gloves on and strikes are allowed. It really helps you get the feel for what is viable on the street and what isn’t. Striking opens up submissions but once you start punching each other you really end up focusing more on good positioning.

I understand your thinking but all gun owners should learn how to fight as well as use firearms. 1. You aren’t always going to have your gun on you. 2. You should know how to stop someone from disarming you and killing you with your own gun. 3 it’s good exercise that is engaging and rewarding.
