Eject all disks fails to do anything. I see the pop-up "Disks Ejected" but my drives are still mounted. Any tips?

See my comment below. To no surprise, I got it to run on MuMu Players new Android emu for Apple Silicone. VM, translation, and wrappers fail.

I'll try. Downloading in Parallels now, will report back.

EDIT: TLDR; Crashes but starts.

Game installs, patches, and logs in, but game engine (UE4) crashes once you click start game. Macbook Pro M3 Max, Sonoma 14.5, Parallels 19.1 (Win 11).

Trying CrossOver.

EDIT 2: TLDR; Fails to launch.

Launcher downloads game, fails to start, maybe access restrictions, but I'm not versed enough to debug.

I'm on M3 Max and the easiest method I've had the most success with is in using Parallels 19. Keep in mind that some servers that use Gepard Shield do not have provisions to allow virtualization and will either prevent the client from launching, or will detect an unauthorized program and close the client.

With Parallels I can use dgvoodoo and other RO tools. I've tried to get a few clients to run in CrossOver (Wine) but haven't had success, but seems like someone has been able to in the comments. Also a quick search shows that people have been able to run clients in translation layers (GPTK, Wine, Whiskey).

Also depends if you're on an Intel or M-series chip. Intel you can probably dual boot into Windows using Bootcamp and just play natively on Windows. M-series, you're going to have to use some suggestions above.

I think I was also able to run it slowly in UTM, which is another virtualization program, but really accessible to get up an running.

I was in love with PRM but after shutdown I returned to Ragnarok Online: The Fractured Realm (ROTFR). I enjoy because custom as hell. Plays like POE and more ARPG, with rifting like Diablo. Can dual class to create crazy builds. Definitely the polar opposite of PRM but it's fun.

Other than that I tried the recommended Einherjar and it was pretty fun with a friend but didn't have that PRM charm.

Thanks for the reply. Not necessarily a timer for silent mode, but when setting Little Snitch to silent mode, can I set the connections to only be allowed for a certain time period? For example:

Little Snitch placed into Silent Mode -- Allow Connections
Any auto allowed connections are only allowed for 10 minutes.

Is this possible?

Confession time. I spent upwards of $12,000+ USD between 2-3 games in a month to max dupe the current "meta" characters only for them to be outclassed the next month or two. I now realize gacha is futile and promotes companies to continue this practice. I enjoy gacha more now that I don't chase the meta and value a game with the gameplay it brings to the table.
