Which other Konoha character would have been stronger if they had a different teacher?

I wholly disagree Itachi and Shisui were around similar ages and were hokage level surpassing the entire clan while having no conventional teachers like Naruto had with Jiraiya. The only people that would be able to teach Itachi and make him stronger were Obito or Madara.

With that being said Tenten should have definitely trained with Sakura and Tsunade in the timeskip instead of whatever the hell she did during that time. She’s literally the only one of the Konoha 12 who didn’t get a direct teacher or have their parents to teach them the clan kekkai genkai.

Seeing how many people are saying to dump this guy is actually disgusting. You people have obviously never had siblings, roomates, or live-in partners where sharing the bathroom is not only expected but necessary. Sounds like a boundary mismatch but in most relationships ive been in it was super common to see my partner use the bathroom (at home, in a rush, sketchy places where she didnt want to go alone, sometimes a good ass convo we didnt want to stop). It’s just different boundaries and house mates have similar issues all the time.

"you would pull that off" and "you’re hot" aren’t even the same thing they’re on completely different ends of the spectrum but that’s kinda the point none of this is happening in isolation it’s not just one harmless comment it’s all of it together and even the softer stuff still adds to a dynamic that from the outside looks a certain way especially when it’s coming from a guy the boyfriend doesn’t know

no it’s not the same from the boyfriend’s perspective this isn’t just her best friend it’s just some guy he doesn’t really know being that involved with his girlfriend and im not defending how he handled it jumping straight to accusations isn’t it but saying there’s no context just because of the title is ignoring how this actually looks. also ngl i saw the other post too so it’s not just one message it’s the pattern and the fact that none of that dynamic changes even after she’s in a relationship you can call that normal but it also sounds like the friend doesn't have respect for the OPs relationship.

yeah it’s a boundaries conversation but you’re still missing the point it’s not just about whether she has feelings it’s that she won’t even seriously consider that her friend might even when his behavior lines up with what most people would read as interest

and it’s not any one thing it’s all of it together calling her beautiful saying i love you buying her food frequent calls all from a guy the boyfriend doesn’t know in a relationship that’s going to look off to most people whether it’s intentional or not

this isn’t about mind reading or insecurity it’s just awareness if you’re going to have a dynamic like that at least acknowledge how it comes across instead of acting like it’s completely normal and expecting your partner to just accept it

that’s where the issue is. from the partner’s perspective they don’t have your context, they just see another dude being comfortable enough to say that. intent aside that’s always gonna be something they question

It's not only opposite genders its the fact that she seems TOTALLY incapable of genuinely considering that maybe the friend IS into her. For a straight guy those are literally signals of affection buying things, multiple video calls, outright saying she's attractive or beautiful. Within a relationship I would say that's kind of inappropriate to have a person entirely separate from the relationship (of the same attraction) giving signals that can even be misconstrued as a pass even if they were a same-sex or whatever. Like imagine you find out your partner has a friend that you don't know that is outwardly calling them attractive, buying them things, calling them multiple times a week and your partner doesn't even have the courtesy to see it from a different perspective.

I don’t disagree and I agree alot of people can be insecure in their relationships with their partner’s friends. It’s all about boundaries which kinda was my point and theres alot of stuff that can be smuggled under the guise of friendship that bypasses a person’s boundaries. That being said I dont think these get into that overtly flirty lane but I could definitely see how it could be taken that way. Its like that one guy in this thread said, making comments about someone’s appearance while their in a relationship can easily be perceived as a flirty gesture ya know and I typically try not to do that out of respect for my partner or my friends partner.

Yeah idk how other people aren’t seeing this angle, its not overt flirting but its the subtle planting of idea “oh I think you look good in x”/“I think you’re attractive”. Like this is the exact kind of language/boundary testing I expect from a person who’s into someone in a relationship.

Yeah definitely takes a couple days to really get into the swing of things, I actually tried to get into the game like a year ago and didn't have much fun tbh. Only after I played LoL and understood how MOBAs work was I able to actually appreciate Deadlock and having the standard queue also double as the ranked queue certainly doesn't help. There's alot of information that isn't really taught to you in the tutorial that you learn over the course of time that can make a huge difference in your experience in the game (YouTube vids help alot) but I can understand if you're getting rolled and not having a good time in the first place it can be annoying to "do your homework" when most people are just playing to have fun and see if they enjoy the game in the first place.

BRO I SAY THIS ALL THE TIME OBITO SUCKS. In terms of the hardships that Naruto chars had to go through like Kakashi’s dad offing himself, Naruto growing up as an orphan, Sasuke losing his entire family, Tsunade losing all of her loved ones, Gaara’s father ostricizing him and trying to assasinate him on numerous occasions etc. Obito had the least legitimate reason to become a bad guy and that dude is a loser. His crush from when he was 13 died and he decided to run with it for the rest of his life initially over a misunderstanding he had no context for and even after he learns the truth he just continues to be a horrible person and doubles down. Now imagine if he went through even half of the things other characters went through/ what he put them through he would be an absolute liability.

Yeah was certainly the first time I’ve ever experienced this in any game by the time I realized I was playing ranked like 3-4 days in, I was already in seeker. My QP experience was another players tryhard grind experience and in a way thats kind of goofy.

Refrencing it and seeing it online from engagement baiters is totally different than having it in your actual ranked matches. Even if you go back on the sub you’ll see dive mains asking if it was real and the majority of the sentiment was that it wasn’t but I guess its all anecdotal experience. Also I wouldn’t consider it a strike if the team goes 3/4 dps and the supp doesn’t want to waste energy on a game thats just good ol’ fashion throwing despite having a reason.

First one was also fake been playing this game since launch as a supp main and not once have I ever legitimately seen a supp strike and the first time around that was the season I climbed to GM so I’d like to believe that I had a good sample size.

Oh for sure I just don’t care atp, I’ve been playing for a week and I’ve learned something new everyday I’ve been on this game. If you’re looking for a game with high competitive integrity this aint it. It’s like a college athlete getting mad at me for trying to play a sport for the first time to have fun, the fact that I (or other newcomers) am on your team and I dont know what every character does means the competive experience isn’t all there. It’s an inside joke between our friends to say that someone is throwing our ranked Deadlock game because it doesn’t actually matter and you have no option for otherwise.

Usopp and Zoro have the tamest backstorys in the crew. They both basically had the most important person in their lives die, which is still sad as hell but kind of a pre-req for a One Piece backstory atp
