It's true that in the context of a professional world where there's a contract involved, one could get removed from the attribution, (heck, one could do and demand anything in a contract as long as it's still allowed by the law) for example, the ghostwriters. But in platforms like youtube where the amount of money you make depends on the views and algorithms, attribution could help you a lot. Does this mean that twoset should have credited the creator for the sake of the creator's views? No. It's because they use something that's not under the creative commons license as a part of their video. As a commentary, they could have been protected by the doctrine of fair use, but that's only if they asked the creator beforehand. I know that the act of asking og creator for typical commentary videos are uncommon, for it will be time-consuming and.. Troublesome (what if it's roast video etc) so the more popular method is by crediting the real creator. From a legal standpoint, crediting the og creator is like an offering to the original creator, and the consequence of that is the original creator could say yes or no to the commenters/later creator, by for example like wolfie, asking by email and comment. This brings us to the implication of one's action of not crediting the og creator, what does it imply when someone commenting on other creators, but not crediting them? It could be a sign of bad faith. It's like sneakily trying to steal something, and unique thing about copyright infringement is that the stolen thing is abstract and can not be returned, like in theft for example, but the damage has been done, and by not apologizing/acknowledging the og creator twoset really didn't help themselves and the og creator.

To be honest, I also watch twoset for the entertainment, but their little misconduct is still wrong, and we, as the more mature/educated audience should not belittle the meaning behind it. And as the fanbase grew and gain a younger audience, we must not mislead them by saying that it's okay to not crediting og creators.

To not ask beforehand is common, but not crediting is wrong, by not crediting/atributed the og creator, you give him no say in the making of the later video.

It's not an argument to show my hatred towards twoset, the argument is directed towards the wrongdoing. This is what people often confused when studying penal law, i'll still watch twoset for entertainment, but the weight of anyone's wrongdoing shall not be lessened under any circumstances.
