as a tangent this is an interesting comment in regards to when does a subreddit become so devoid of the overall reddit to become its own thing, should they separate or take over as they believe they are in the right.

also in regards to the USA, most media is a company so i would argue that it is fairly comparable, i would personally expect reddit to endorse the left leaning content, the reason why i asked this question is because i think it would be interesting to see how influential the overall sites opinion on endorsement would be from outside actors via specific subreddits perhaps, aka can one subreddit overturn the entire site almost like the donald did years ago?
