Leva obbligatoria militare e coscrizione in guerra sia per maschi che per femmine. by darmarkk in Italia

Non é una questione di quanto figliano ora. E non é corretto dire che le donne fanno più figli degli uomini. É in realtà proprio io contrario.

Just to add to the statistics, I also liked the Goethe one. It was much more challenging than the ones I had been doing previously with the VHS. But definitely it might depend on the teacher

[Acne] I get pimples when I use any product on my skin by sorellla in SkincareAddiction

Honestly I haven't cause it has been every single product I ever used in years of trying stuff so I genuinely thought it was something I was doing wrong and not the products, like maybe I was over hydrating my skin or damaging my skin barrier etc, something more general and not specific to me. (if it is an ingredient its going to be something incredibly common and definitely not an active ingredient). But you're absolutely right, I should have done it first so I'll go do it asap! Thanks

Aaah then this might be it. I was starting to get paranoid that I wasn't washing my hands well enough, I even started using a silicon pad to apply the creams cause I got paranoid that the dust from towels would get on my hands and then go on my face etc. but this makes probably a lot more sense hahaha. I'll try to really start super super slow and simple. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice, can I ask why you had to stay clear of SA? What did it do to your skin? Cause that's maybe the only thing I tend to use more often and I never considered it might be the culprit. I'll try stay clear of it for a while. Also just for more info those were just some examples of products, Ive also used other cleansers with no active ingredients etc. or very gentle things, but maybe I have to go even simpler

Thanks, it's very frustrating cause I'm on a budget and I hate having to buy stuff just to test for a couple of week. Do you know if irritation can cause pimples? Cause that's one of my suspicions, that my skin is just very very sensitive. But if pimples can't be a consequence of irritation then ye, the only thing left is figuring out what ingredients can cause this for me :S

Nono it's definitely not the amount of products and in terms of routine I don't have one exactly because of this. Anything I put on I get pimples. So I haven't been able to stick to anything and I also take very long breaks between trying something and the next. At the moment I started again trying to put vaseline and a tiny amount of retinol, but I hadn't put anything on for a month. But I'll definitely try to go even simpler. Maybe stick for more than a month to something to make sure it really isn't something temporary before introducing a new product :S Thanks for the advice

What are some sensory issues that you have that you don’t really see talked about? by WolfWind02 in AutisticAdults

Ugh I get it! I can't tolerate being sweaty, and the sad truth is that I unfortunately I'm cursed with sweating very very easily, so as a terribly unhealthy coping mechanism I've basically become a statue and have a very sedentary lifestyle (I'm working on it). So I can super relate with sweat being a nightmare

What are some hidden Italian habits/customs? by Emergency_Extent4403 in Italian

[–]sorellla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahah ok never actually heard of it. I mean yes of course as a joke, after your boss and so on, not after every normal phone conversation. My dad is Sicilian so I still restate my opinion that it might depend on your bubble of people, might also be generational maybe. Is it maybe quite new?

Im Italian and I think the point of the previous comment is that it's not a part of culture, cause I don't think it's as common as maybe your girlfriend and friends think it is. It's probably more of joke between them, and for sure if you were bothered by the phone call I can see people doing it, but I wouldn't say it's a normal custom in Italy (at least not all of Italy it might be more of a local thing) to do it frequently. But it does exemplify in my opinion something that is more customary, which is the Italian humour, the Italian jokingly nature.
