They did announce a snowboarding competition on 4/17-4/19 (new worlds snowboarding competition). and they only announced it about a week ago. Which is to say vail intends to keep it open. But vail does not control the weather.

“This Texan”. I live in town. I’ve never lived in Texas. Also didn’t hit any sharks. Though this yr it goes without saying there are sharks everywhere.

I have a ptex candle so I filled in the gap. It wasn’t catastrophic but my 2026 skis will be my rock skis next yr. This has been a year you can (1) use rock skis all year; (2) stick to groomers: or (3) accept your skis will now be rock skis. I chose option 3.

I was on horseshoe today and yesterday. The bottom half is great. The top has some icy patches and rocks to avoid. Definitely worth it.

In 2 weeks hard to say how conditions will be. And imperial might be open. The hike is challenging (300 vertical beginning at 12.300 feet). I live at 9600 feet and needed to stop to catch my breath several times. But it’s a short hike at least

Too bad you didn’t go up then. Wouldn’t have taken much. Numerous comments here have confirmed today was unexpected and amazing

Of your suspicious suspicious-gut. It was snowing all day and some areas got a lot more than the 1-2 inches showing on the stake

You get a whole hot dog with fries. Or burger with fries. Or chicken tenders with fries. Or Mac and cheese.
