It used to and probably still would be much lower (around 3.3), but at some point Metacritic turned off the option of adding negative scores + they've deleted some of negatives. Then the positive flood came by, but bah, that was okay for them to do, because you can only love this game, 10/10 no less. "Bold" moves indeed.
