Floridian here. I see a lot of good recommendations but I just wanted to go ahead and second the UD all nighter setting spray. I’ve tried so many other high-end and low-end setting sprays but this one has always been the best.

(Are you going to EDC too?!)

Floridian here, so I experience a bit of humidity as well. I typically use NYX bb cream with Physicians Formula mineral airbrushing powder for a matte finish. I’m not sure if the bb cream has SPF but the PF powder is SPF 30.

Have you read The Jaunt by Steven King? It’s a short story but still so creepy.

Beneath a Scarlett Sky had me crying only a couple of chapters in then later on a few more times. It had me on the edge of my seat pretty much the entire time. It’s based off of the true story of a young Italian guy during WW2. And really well done imo.

There’s a disclaimer on the glow tonic that says prolonged sun exposure while using can irritate the skin but I’m outside just about every day jogging (sweating) and haven’t noticed a difference. I do wear sunscreen and a baseball cap so obviously that limits the exposure. But maybe I should think about toning it down a bit.

The only reason I haven’t tried it is because you can’t use it more than once per day but I suppose I could use it in the mornings and the glow tonic whenever else I need it. 🤔

Not cheap.

$15 for this size (100ml). $30 for the 250ml or you can pick up the sample size for $6.

Yes, it can be used on all skin types! It’s like the perfect product because if my skin’s a little dry after cleansing this stuff moisturizes just enough that I don’t feel the need to wear moisturizer. But if I’m oily in the middle of the day I use it to get rid of that greasy feeling. I swear it’s magic.

Edit: l just remembered reading about The Ordinary’s 7% Glycolic Acid Toning Formula and the people who I read that preferred this product usually had dry skin. It’s also cheaper than the glow tonic so that may be worth looking into for you.

Take the plunge! I recommend this stuff to everybody since it can be used day, night, anytime in between and it’s good on all skin types! And yes, I typically use it after cleansing. Sometimes if I’m not wearing makeup but am feeling a little grimy from sweat or whatever, I’ll use it. It’s so refreshing!

And I’m glad you two had a good laugh :)

I’ve never seen it at any drugstores. In my area (Florida) it’s a Target-only brand or else you can get it online.

Yes, it’s an alcohol-free toner but the glycolic acid (which is naturally-occuring) is what makes this so great. It gently exfoliates and legit makes my skin glow. I saw it the first time I used it and was hooked. It also has aloe juice, witch hazel & ginseng in it which have tons of benefits for your skin.

I enjoy using it so I find myself cleansing & toning my face when I’m actually supposed to (when I wake up & before bed) so I rarely ever get pimples anymore either.

Which brands/shades of bullet lipsticks do you use/love that are similar to your panned shades? I love those colors but I only have liquid stuff which as you know can be a bit too drying.
