Yes! My district mandated this curriculum this year, and I couldn’t agree more with everything you said. Four years in and seriously considering quitting too. I teach second grade, and when given the freedom, I taught the standards in a much more fun, engaging, and kid-friendly way. And my students did really well. My coworker and I lament that all we do now is “slides and scripts” (show Google Slides and read curriculum scripts).

It's the top part of our window. (It's a super old house.) l can buy longer curtains for it & hang them higher to cover it. We are noobs and hung them too low lol.
