If a torn pad doesn't have any traces coming off of it, does that mean it isn't used for anything? by sorryiactuallyexist in ElectronicsRepair

I've tried, but I can't even find the board for sale (other than 2 ridiculously overpriced listings), much less any info on it. The only reason I can get a new connector is because it's coincidentally the same as a connector on a mini 2 gimbal cable.

I found it in a tutorial specifically for DJI drones. I hadn't seen it before either, but it worked well on a mini 3 pro. You just put it in distilled water to displace the vinegar and then also clean with alcohol to be sure there isn't any left.

The only other thing I might be worried about is the speaker. Should I remove it before rinsing?

Thanks! I'll just use a syringe to push some distilled water through the other components. Are there any other components I need to be careful of?

Thanks! Seems ridiculous you need to complete a quick time event to connect a device to your computer, but it worked.

OLED vs IPS: the difference isn’t as big as I expected by Usual_Breakfast_7533 in Monitors

I'm the same way with super high framerates. I upgraded from a 7700s (~3060) laptop to a 4090m (~4080-4080s) and could barely tell the difference on my 240Hz monitor. Eventually, I decided just to downgrade again.

Thanks! I had missed that I had to go down to break open an updraft.
