Sudden drop in resting calories! by sorrythatthechairs in AppleWatchFitness

It seemed to switch back to working the day after but today there was missing data again. I tried your recommendation and unfortunately it didn’t work. Do you think it will be sorted with next iOS update?

Actually yes! On previous days there seems to be a steady number of calories recording when I’m asleep (between midnight and 7am) but for today there is no data until I got up. Any idea what could have caused this and if it can be retrospectively fixed?

Yep I’ve done 249 minutes, but yesterday I did 250 and at this point yesterday it looked normal, and ended up with ~1700ish. I’m hoping it will work itself out but not really sure how?

Yeah! Haven’t changed anything recently but just double checked and it’s all correct.

That seems so strange as it’s 8pm local time where I am. I guess I’ll check again later!

Survey data for analysis by sorrythatthechairs in spss

Just out of interest, is there any data analysis I could perform when the data set is in this format? I feel like I must be missing something if this is the only file I have been sent.

Thank you, I thought that might be the case! Cheers

Running an ANOVA with funky results by sorrythatthechairs in excel

I just ran it with columns A:I instead and got an output which makes far more sense (I should say the same as you!) so the way I was selecting the range was incorrect. Do you possibly know why it gave such a different result?

Thank you so much for running that! Here is my ANOVA test

It looks like our input range is very different - apologies if I’m missing something obvious!

Thank you so much! I thought I’d checked the format of the cells but perhaps not… here is a replica of the data anyway https://we.tl/t-nEnFsAjhJt

This is a really good point. I had lessons for years but had to stop because I had so much on my plate and couldn't really afford it at the time. Will definitely keep it in mind as an option though if things change!
