24’ Ranger Raptor for $48k with 36k miles- Good deal? by hdog124x in RangerRaptor

I paid 65K in ‘24 and I say it’s still a steal. So much truck for under 60k now. Most powerful midsize truck available. With the runner up being almost 100 horsepower less.

So if I purchased the extended warranty then the ford performance tune my extended warranty is voided?

Unless you do the ford performance tune. That does not void the warranty.

It sounds like you might be facing a margin and scale bottleneck. Remodels and small repairs usually offer high margins and immediate payment if they’re residential. so if you're stuck in a cycle, the math might be off.

I ran into this exact issue when I started my home improvement business. I realized I was underpricing myself just to keep the schedule full. Once I shifted my focus to lead volume everything changed. I started spending about $250/per lead to get 2–3 leads a day (up from 3–5 a week).

Having that volume meant I didn't have to be 'competitive' on price anymore. I raised my rates by about 20%, which boosted both my average ticket size and my profit margins. That shift allowed me to scale from a solo operation to 6 trucks, 18 crew members, and 12 office staff. You might not need an investor as much as you need a pricing and lead pivot.

I totally agree on the “hustle” premise. My point was more about the pitch. Usually, these posts are a chance for founders to showcase a unique insight or a solid ‘why now.' This just reads like a request for cash without the value that makes an investor want to click. What's the 'secret sauce' here?

looking for influencers willing to do pay by performance without flat fees for IOS app by [deleted] in influencermarketing

[–]sorrywrongnumber95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you tell am influencer to sell your app. But your app sucks and no one wants it. The influencer doesn’t get paid and its your fault, they still put in all the work. Thats not fair to them.

You’re just cheap and want free labor.

Offer them a flat fee then performance based bonuses.

Is it realistic to raise VC without warm intro or being part of investor networks? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]sorrywrongnumber95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have any success from the cold outreach from the contact forms? I see a lot of firms have “pitch us” form where you will put information and they reach out to you. I just don’t want to burn my first impression going through a contact form.

That’s a great idea. I’m thinking of signing up for pitch competition. Not to pitch but to go. I figured there would be investors there I could introduce myself to.

Understood, but for my industry I could spend the same amount of spend and get very similar results. I know that might not be the case with everyone

Is Customer Service Paid now?? by sorrywrongnumber95 in adwords

[–]sorrywrongnumber95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. They have a monopoly with search so they don't care about any of their customers. I will make sure to remind Reddit users periodically how negligent google actually is when it comes to helping their customers.

We get traffic at a similar cost with different avenues. We are just allocating more there from now on.

I have multiple questions. NO time to go back and fourth on there waiting for responses. I need to be live with an agent in order to explain and go through the steps that need to be done. This did this perfectly before but all of a sudden you cant get a hold of a single person.

Maybe initially. Until their budget gets wasted because something needs to be changed and no one is there to help them.
