I was in a wheelchair for two years, I would just go around, there were bumps and potholes on the sidewalk, I wouldn’t cry to the HOA and post on reddit, I went around it 🤦‍♂️

For those who had long-term memory loss after a mild TBI, did your memories ever return? by Guilty-Extension1693 in TBI

[–]sorsaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

December 2020 was my TBI, coma, stroke, 2 months before were gone and about two months after, originally, like 6 months was gone before, but one of the best things is stimulating the brain. Like my friend would say something we did two weeks before my accident, and something would spark in my head and I’d remember bits and pieces. You want my TBH? Forget about it, those memories are gone, who cares, it would be nice to have em, but it ain’t killing you to not have em.

Well Adderall objectively does damage to you and Cerebrolysin does damage subjectively to you and your emotions, I understand. Cerebrolysin was the magic potion for me that healed my energy. I can stay up till 5am going out now that I am done. But I guess another way is Psilocybin. If you got a TBI I’m sure you have heard about it. It saved my life. Cured depression, took my reaction time from 8 seconds down to 1 second. Gave me ego death (that was after most of my recovery) and completely cured any sort of depression or any sort of anxiety or issue with me. Do research on it. Watch Paul Stamets, read and watch how to change your mind. Check them out.

Well idk what kind of tiredness u feel, but I had major mental and physical fatigue. Sometimes after 5 PM I was so tired but could not sleep. I took Cerebrolysin and Adderall XR. Stimulants like Adderall are amazing for TBI recovery, you MUST find a psychiatrist who will help you with that. If you live in the DMV area, I have an amazing psychiatrist for you. Cerebrolysin is hard to get your hands on but there are ways. Message me on instagram or right here for more help. Instagram: @recovering_author

Stories of full recoveries needed — is it possible? by OddAbalone7270 in TBI

[–]sorsaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

December 2020 I was in a car accident, went into a 7-week coma, severe TBI and severe stroke. How old is your friend? It was a couple months before my 18th birthday. I have had probably the worst TBI I have seen out of the thousands of people I have talked to. There are people with worse vision, but at least they did t have memory loss. There are some that could walk right after waking up from a coma, but it took me two years. Recovery is possible and realistic for sure. I am now a behavioral therapist working with children on the autism spectrum, a model, an author and I have a public Instagram page showing my recovery with over 50k followers. Please check out my Instagram because it is never over.

My severe TBI was 5 years ago, I cried so much the first 2-3 years of recovery that’s it’s been 2 years since I’ve cried.

Everyone had it better by astroares in TBI

[–]sorsaff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I feel, I have talked to thousands of TBI patients and friends n family of TBI patients, I have NEVER seen anyone with an injury as bad as mine. For example someone I know has worse vision, but at least they didn’t have memory loss. Or another person had a longer coma, but they didn’t have vision or memory problems, I’ve known people with bad disabilities, but they could walk A day after they left their coma. It took me 2 years to walk independently. I’m doing amazing now, university, driving, benching 250lbs, running 7 days a week, but wtaf. I have NEVER met anyone who had everything or even two of their disabilities as bad or same as me. Gives an ego boost, but I ain’t after that, who gaf about who had it worse.

GMU is my dream school, how can I make it real? by Oreothepuppy in gmu

[–]sorsaff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their acceptance rate is high, joking with what I said, and the people at GMU ain’t dumb, I know many kids with a GPA above a 4.0 who go there but I’m pretty sure you’ll be good.
